ACFW Conference – Day 40 Prayer – God’s Presence & Blessing

Psalm 127:1 CEB – “Unless it is the Lord who builds the house, the builder’s work is pointless. Unless it is the Lord who protects the city, the guard on duty is pointless.”

Father God, we look forward to the conference and everything You have for us there. Like Moses, we beg for Your presence to go with us as we assemble. We know our efforts are vain unless You are in the center. We want You to be the builder and guard of our talents, dreams, and desires. May your blessings flow into every heart in attendance. In Jesus’ Holy Name, Amen.

  1. From a mis-spent life of vanities,
I ask you, Lord, please take the best
and let the rest pass quietly,
that their departure be my test.
    Surrendering without resentment,
and without head bowed in shame,
may letting go be my contentment,
a gift to praise Your holy name.
I know the striving was an error
that led me often far astray
to where my idol turned to terror,
and lost, I could not find my way.
But when I turned to flee the fear,
you held me close: “My child, I’m here.”
