American Christian Fiction Writers (“ACFW”) respects the privacy of visitors to its website. It’s important to ACFW to help our members, and visitors to our website, retain their privacy when they take advantage of what our website has to offer.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

ACFW only collects personally identifiable information that you voluntarily provide to us. You may choose not to provide this information at any time, but this may restrict your ability to access certain areas of our website. We may use the information obtained from you to complete your submitted request to access various areas of our website and receive email notifications and various ACFW-related announcements.

YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

If you provide certain personally identifiable information (name and email address, for example), you will be able to select what information or Loop you want to join.

You have a significant role in protecting your information. Access to your information is limited only to those ACFW board members, employees or volunteers whom are required to keep your information confidential. No one can see or edit your personal information without knowing your user name and password, so do not share these with others.

ACFW will not sell or give away your name, mailing address, phone number, email address or any other information to anyone without your specific consent.

OPT-OUT

If at any time, you wish to stop receiving Loop emails and other information from us, you may do so by following the instructions listed in the Members Only Area of our website or by contacting webmaster@acfw.com.

ACCESS

We will provide you with the means to ensure that your personal information is correct and current. You may review and update this information at any time at the Members Only Area of the website. There, you can:

  • View and edit personal information you have already given us.
  • Sign up for Loop emails, including the Main Loop, Prayer Loop, and Course Loop. You can also access our Forums section.
  • Opt-out of any or all of the above.

ACFW has taken strong measures to protect the security of your personal information and to ensure that your choices for its intended use are honored. We take precautions to protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
