A master at multiple books a year and having award-winning books at the same time, Kim is eager to share with you how God gave us these incredible brains to share His stories. (Have you taken this as a single-hour class from Kimberley and wanted more? Well, here's your chance. There will be a lot of information and tools for your toolbox, so come ready to drink from the firehose! Another attendee put it this way, "I took Kim's one hour 'Write Well, Write Faster' class with our local chapter. I learned more than I thought possible and started applying it right away. When I found out there was a longer class she offered, I immediately jumped at the chance. It was her one-hour class on steroids! I would take this class over and over again.")

Tamela Hancock Murray with Steve Laube Agency: As always, Tamela is looking for all types of Christian romance. She also enjoys other types of excellent Christian fiction that is polished to a brilliant sheen. If you also write nonfiction and have a great platform, Tamela is interested in talking with you. NOT SEEKING: Children's, YA, Fantasy, Science Fiction

Jen Babakhan with Books & Such: looking for contemporary romance, women's fiction, historical fiction, historical romance, and romantic suspense.

Linda Glaz with Linda Glaz Literary: She handles nonfiction and fiction in both the Christian and general markets. No spec or children’s, however!

Lynette Eason with Steve Laube Agency: looking to represent authors of all types of Christian fiction including, but not limited to: romantic suspense, thrillers, mysteries, speculative fiction, historical, women’s contemporary, and writers targeting the Love Inspired suspense lines. I’m also interested in some adult nonfiction, depending on the topic. I am not looking for children’s books.

Stephanie Alton with Blythe Daniels Agency: handles fiction in CBA and general market

Cynthia Ruchti with Books & Such: LOOKING FOR: Novels that stand out for their excellence in writing, unique yet believable settings, and relatable characters--romcom, women's fiction, contemporary or historical with romance or suspense elements. I'm always on the alert for stories that don't sound like a duplicate of other stories in the category. 🙂 If the author knows their category well, that speaks volumes. Also, looking for novels that incorporate faith elements smoothly and organically.

NOT LOOKING FOR: fantasy, sci-fi, speculative (not my specialty); not looking for agenda-driven fiction (a cause or denominational or theological debate)

Linda Fulkerson of Scrivenings Press: We only accept proposals for CLEAN fiction. No sexual content, foul language (including euphemisms), crudeness, vulgarity, abuse, or graphic violence will be permitted in our books. Stories do not have to include a religious theme or content, but if they do, we will not accept proposals for books that are “preachy” in nature. Stories that do include a religious theme must be nondenominational so that anyone who embraces a Christian worldview can enjoy them. We are interested in proposals for Romantic Suspense, Historical Romance, Contemporary Romance, Mysteries, Speculative fiction, and Upper Middle-Grade fiction. We also publish at least two novella collections each year—a contemporary romance theme in February, and a Christmas romance-themed collection around October.
