DAY 11 PRAYER – TOPIC: THAT WE MOURN WITH THOSE THAT MOURN
Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. –Romans 12:15
Dear Lord, some of us have suffered a seemingly crushing blow. Tears overtake us, and we can’t imagine how to get through the day, least of all write a word or participate in a conference. Loss hounds our every step, yet somewhere deep inside, we know that You are a God of plenty, that Your grace abounds and overflows even when we cannot feel it. Lord, wrap those who grieve in Your tender embrace, whisper in their ear and tell them that it is all right. You are there. You will always be there, even in the tough times. One day soon, You will wipe every tear from our eyes and pour Your immense joy into our hearts. We cling to this promise, Lord, both atop the peaks and from deep in the valleys. We claim You for our God, our forever faithful Lord and Savior. Amen.
