Editors at the conference
Psalm 141:2–May my prayer be counted as incense before You; the lifting of my hands as the evening offering.
Father, we pray for every editor represented at the conference. Grant them safe travel to and from Denver. Be with their families at home and keep them safe and healthy. Give the editors divine rest and a strong sense of Your presence throughout the conference. Let it be a time of refreshing for them.
Bless their appointment times with endurance, peace, and low-stress. Give them insight into which stories will work for the houses they represent, and give them the grace and the words for those stories that won’t.
Be with attendees as they meet with these industry professionals. Help there to be mutual respect and healthy boundaries. Give attendees wisdom on which editors to meet with. Help the editors to see past the nervousness into the heart of those pitching projects and help each to instinctively know whether the author and their project would be a good fit.
Bless them with your appointments, too, Lord. Uplift them and renew fresh joy in their work as they network with their peers.
