Agents at the conference
Psalm 143:8a–Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; for I trust in You.
Lord, we celebrate the agents who have agreed to attend the conference and “offer themselves a sacrifice for many.” Lift them up when their stamina wanes. Flood them with wisdom when they hear pitch after pitch, story after story. Rest them even in the middle of the intensity of conference. Refresh them both in Your presence and in the presence of Your authors and their colleagues.
You have created within the heart of an agent a balance of caution and risk. May that balance be ever Spirit-directed. Speak Your truths with clarity as they evaluate and comment and encourage. Let them hear Your lovingkindess in the morning, for they trust in You.
In these days of preparation before the conference, we pray collectively for an uncommon peace to rest upon them. We ask in Jesus’ Name for energy equal to their tasks, for joy that propels them through the overwhelming, and for the freedom they need to leave a deskful of work in order to come to Denver and collect even more.
You, Lord God, are the only One with an unobstructed view to the heart of each agent. Whatever they need, Lord, please bless them with an abundance. Give them courage and grace, and something fun to write home about.
For the honor of Your Name we pray,
