Forty Days of Prayer-Day 25: For the Technology

I Cor. 14:33a–For God is not a God of confusion.
Is God sovereign over technology? Yes, and amen! Even though we know the enemy seems to delight in messing with technology for evil or distracting purposes, we also know that even sound byte and jigawatt must bow to the Almighty God.

And so we pray, Great God of All, Ruler and King, Sovereign Lord, we offer You our undying allegiance. Our hearts’ longing is for every aspect of the ACFW conference to honor You, to lift high Your Name, and to create an atmosphere in which each attendee can see You, hear You, and respond to You.

For that purpose, we seek Your intervention in regard to the many threads of technology needed in the hotel itself, the classrooms, the banquet halls, the small sessions and large, for the worship times, the keynotes, even the announcements and fellowship and awards. Lord, we long for smooth, uninterrupted, unmarred technological excellence so that nothing and no one can interfere with what You want to do and say to us. May distraction and disruption have no place in that conference. May they flee in the presence of the Almighty God!

In Jesus’ Name,
