Jeremiah 1:9–Then the Lord stretched out His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me, Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.
Heavenly Father, we are so thankful for words. We are blessed by Your w
ords and even more so when You place them in our mouths. We lift up our Keynote Speaker, Frank Peretti, Lord. We ask that you place Your words in his mouth as he addresses the conferees. May it be Your message he delivers, and may we each take hold of that message and apply it to our lives and our writing that all who read our work will be touched and draw closer to You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Lord, please help me listen
to wiser minds than mine,
whose words, like manna, glisten
and reflect You in their shine.
Please let me hear Your holy heart
in the words they offer in service
to You, that they might play their part…
and let the speakers not be nervous!
Lord, please make them confident
with the strength to clear-proclaim
the truths not self-evident,
and the mysteries of Your name.
On their shoulders place Your guiding hand,
and help me, Lord, to understand.
