ACFW Conference Prayer: For the Volunteers
Romans 6:13b Present yourselves to God as those who are alive from the dead and your members as instruments of righteousness to God
Heavenly Father, we lift up to Your service those who have chosen to set aside Conference time to minister through volunteering. May You encourage and strengthen them as they present themselves as instruments of righteousness. As we return home, may we remember that we too, have opportunities to volunteer whether it’s cooking a meal for someone ill or even a word of encouragement. Thank You. In Jesus Name, Amen.

At the end of the blessing line
stands the lonely volunteer,
giving of both heart and time,
giving of both smile and cheer.
The platforms on which speakers stand
are not made of steel or wood,
but are held in the gentle hand
of a helper who just thought she should.
We take for granted far too much,
and recognize what’s not deserved,
but the volunteer is simply such
that chose to help and therby served.
We thank You for each loving soul
that moved to aid, and made life whole.
