ACFW Conference Prayer: For the Early Bird and Post Conference Sessions
Proverbs 2:2–Make your ear attentive to wisdom, incline your heart to understanding.
Dear Lord,
We pray for those who have gone the extra mile and committed to attending the Early Bird and Post Conference sessions. We ask that You honor their hearts and the time they have given, that You speak to their areas of seeking and of need, that You provide them with direction for the next step in their journey. We pray for the speakers, that You give them the words to say and help them connect to their audience. Let them shine your light through their words and wisdom. Amen.

‘Tis always best to rise up early
and stay later, with a smile,
never cross and never surly
on that golden extra mile.
You may find some boon companions,
all sleepy round the coffee-pot,
and in the night, crow-feet as canyons
show all have given all they’ve got.
Yes, the worth may seem quite fleeting
and you’ll look with envy at your friends
who’ve spent the time in sleeping, eating,
while you have sought the furthest ends.
For your sacrifice of time and care,
your reward is truly being there.
