Topic: For the families we leave at home
Scripture: Romans 8:26-27–In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
Prayer:
Father God,
Thank you for the opportunity to attend ACFW where we will learn, grow, and meet writers. But we leave our families behind and the weight of responsibility can seem stronger while we’re away. We aren’t always sure how to pray when we are apart. But you know all of our needs. Bless our families: our spouse, children, parents, and any others that we care for. Provide for their needs and give us peace until we return.
