2018 ACFW Conference 40 Days of Prayer
Day 20: For all attending to have a servant’s heart toward those around them.
John 3:34-35 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for the chance to attend the ACFW Conference this year. It can be so confusing as to why we’re even there. The focus seems to be on me and my writing, which much of it is. Help us see into others’ lives. too. There’s always somebody we can help and encourage. Don’t let us get so caught up in our own concerns that we miss your moments to reach out and be Jesus to someone else. Help people tithe of their time to volunteer where they didn’t plan on helping.
Little prayers mean so much to you, Lord. Teach us to send up an arrow prayer when we see someone between events. They need your touch, too. Use us to actually sit down and listen when someone needs a listening ear. There will be attacks at the conference and back at home, too. Coming together as Christian siblings will deepen our relationship with you and each other. It will also show those watching who aren’t in your family now that we are different in a fabulous way. Your love is contagious. Help everybody catch what we’ve got…a relationship with the Creator of the universe and a peace that transcends all understanding.
Use us as your lights in Jesus’ name. AMEN
