Day 29:
Topic: Paid critiquers as they work on submissions
2 Thessalonians 2:16-17–Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace, comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word.
Dear Father,
Thank you for those experienced authors who have volunteered to meet with aspiring authors to give them critiques of their writing. Please help each critiquer as they read through the manuscripts to see the positive points and what needs improvement. Guide them as they work through the critiques to do the best job possible. As they meet with the aspiring authors, please give them the right balance of encouragement and guidance for improvement.
Father, I also ask that those who meet with the critiquers will have open minds and get the most they can out of those meetings. Thank you that critiquers have the opportunity to help others as they have been helped and pass on knowledge and encouragement. Please work out all the details with their schedules so those meeting can take place efficiently and no one misses their appointments. It’s a joy to serve and encourage others. Thank you for that opportunity. We look to you for your guidance and help with all these things.
In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
