40 Days of Prayer: Day 10

ACFWConference, Prayer Leave a Comment

Day 10

Topic: The families we leave at home

Romans 8:26-27–In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words; and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.

Dear Heavenly Father, we pray for the families we leave at home. Keep them safe. Thank you for the spouses who have graciously sacrificed finances and time for us to attend the conference. Let them know how grateful we are. Be with the children; comfort them that we are only gone for a short time and assure them we will give them extra time and attention when we get home. Be with those who are caring for an aging parent or in-law. Give the loved one peace that their needs will be met while their caregiver is away. We pray for the household logistics. School, practice, meetings, and work continue while we are gone, but you are the Great Provider. You will make a way. Thank you for our families. Next to you, they are the most-important part of our lives. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
