Day 20 Focus: For all attending to rest in God’s timing for their lives
Scripture: Psalm 37:4-5 (ESV) — Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
Seasons and years have flown by. The world has been shaken and then shaken again. How long before our gifting becomes a beacon in stifling darkness, drawing many to seek its source? Discouragement is our spirit’s secret tide.
Will you gather each of us into your promises during this conference and beyond? Will you hold us close by your power, as your spirit empowers our faltering steps, until we see your work through us, softening a reader’s soul? And in all the tender unpublished or unspoken plots, may we see that it is us, your writers, who are being sought and who these stories are really for. We love you, Lord. Give us our heart’s desire. We ask in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior. Amen.
