Topic: For conferees to grasp what is taught and to grow from it
Scripture: James 1:5–But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
Lord,
We need your wisdom every day but, on some days, more. As we attend workshops packed with a wealth of information and taught by experts in publishing, we ask for an extra measure of wisdom to grasp what is being taught and how to apply it to our writing. Help us to process all we’ve learned and give us fresh eyes to see any areas in our writing where we need to grow. Give us discernment to focus on what we need to do to be writers who will glorify you. Amen.
