Luke 8:24b–And He got up and rebuked the wind and the surging waves, and they stopped, and it became calm.
As we leave our homes by planes, trains, and automobiles for this conference, we ask, Lord, for good weather for all those on the journey. We know, Lord, that you watch over us always, and so we place ourselves in your loving care. May your angels lead us through all those uncontrollable conditions that might sabotage our arrival. Help us see events or delays as evidence of your protection and react with gratitude, patience, and understanding.
We pray, dear Father, for your blessings on all those in whose care you will place us to arrive in Denver. And on our journeys home, we ask your angels to watch over us and provide clear weather to lead us safely to our families.
We thank you Lord for these gifts. In the name of Jesus, our Provider, our Protector, and our Savior. Amen.
