ACFW Conference Prayer – For First-Time Attendees
Philippians 4:6 – Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God.
Father God,
We lift up the first-time attendees to You. You see each person and any fear, insecurity, anxiety, or insufficiency they may feel while surrounded by so many. Help them to bring everything to You and surrender it at Your feet. You have them at the ACFW conference for such a time as this. Send seasoned conferees to their side as a blessing.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

It looked so easy and serene,
in rose-hued imagination,
but being here, on the scene,
it’s like Grand Central Station.
Look! There goes that writer-dude,
and high-time agent right beside.
Asking an autograph might be rude;
I think I will just go and hide.
But then a word in my ear,
“Is this your first time, too?
There’s more new guys over here,
so let me introduce you.”
Thus, indeed, the ice is broken
by kind heart shared, kind word spoken.
